About Legacy Tables

Legacy Tables began in 2016 in Tomah, Wisconsin after recognizing a problem in the armwrestling market: there simply weren't many reputable brands producing quality tables for people who wanted something they could trust. There was demand for well-built equipment, but the options available didn't offer the kind of name, consistency, and craftsmanship that serious pullers were looking for. So instead of waiting for someone else to fill the gap, we decided to do it ourselves.

The company started small and stayed close to the work. Every table was built individually, and over time the process became a combination of fabrication experience and practical knowledge from the sport itself. A table could look good on paper and still feel wrong when you actually pulled on it, so designs were continually evaluated against how they performed in real use. Dimensions, pad firmness, peg placement, frame construction, and stability all became part of the experience that shaped the tables.

That experience came from both sides of the operation. More than 25 years of involvement in armwrestling provided an understanding of what pullers expect from their equipment, while more than 25 years of welding and fabrication provided the knowledge to turn those requirements into something that could withstand them. The two naturally went together, and that combination became one of the defining characteristics of Legacy Tables.

Over the years, Legacy grew through the same process it started with: one table at a time. Tables went into homes, gyms, clubs, and events, and the experience gained from building and using them continued to influence the next generation. The company remained independently operated rather than moving toward large-scale production or purchasing finished tables from outside manufacturers.

That is still how Legacy operates today. The tables are fabricated and finished in Tomah, Wisconsin, with the manufacturing process remaining close to the people responsible for the product. There isn't a separate factory producing a finished table somewhere else before it receives the Legacy name. The frame, finishing, pads, assembly, and final preparation all remain part of the process here in the shop.
